Tickover

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Tickover is a to-do list app. We collect only what we need to run it, we don't show ads, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Tickover is made by Michael Turner, an individual developer based in the United Kingdom, who is responsible for your data under UK data protection law. Contact: hello@gettickover.com.

What we collect

We don't use advertising or tracking tools, and we don't build profiles of you.

Features that use AI

Some features, such as "Make me a template" or reading a ticket photo, send the text or photo you choose to Anthropic, the company behind Claude, to produce the result. This only happens when you use one of those features. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use this content to train its models.

Who helps us run Tickover

These companies process data only to provide their service to us. Some may process it outside the UK; where they do, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Why we use your data

To provide the app you've asked for (keeping your account and syncing your lists), to keep it secure, and to answer you when you contact us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. When you choose Delete my account in Settings, your account, lists, boards and photos are deleted. Copies may remain in our providers' encrypted backups for a short time before they're overwritten.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@gettickover.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Tickover isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
